The appartment house Anička is situated in the village of Važec, in the district of Liptovský Mikuláš, near Štrba. The well-preserved forests of the Low Tatras above the village of Važec will attract you for walks along forest paths, perfect for runners and cyclists, or even for mushroom picking. Above the village, there is the famous Važecká vyhliadka viewpoint with seating and a beautiful view of the panorama of the Tatras. The village is proud for the Važecká Cave famous for the findings of cave bear bones, and the Museum of Folk Culture Važec. There is a restaurant in the village, a fast food store, ice cream and coffee store, six smaller groceries. Nearby there is a bicycle rental and also e-bikes rentals (Štrbské Pleso, Podbanské, Kráľova Lehota). In the vicinity you can go hiking in the Low, High and Western Tatras. You can take pleasant walks around Štrbské pleso, Popradské pleso, hike Kriváň, Rysy, Predné Solisko, Skok Waterfall, Mlynická and Furkotská valley, just to name the nearest of the destinations. In winter you can enjoy great skiing and cross country skiing in Štrbské Pleso, Tatranská Lomnica, Jasná, Snowpark Lučivná, Lopušná dolina, Mengusovce and other local resorts. From the local roads, there are beautiful views of the fields, changing colours according to the seasons in the background of which the Tatra peaks rise. From these places, you can enjoy calmness of the nature and the views of the Tatras in the palm of your hand, not far away from the tourist resorts.
