Even after his active sports career, he continued to compete internationally, achieving an impressive 8th place at the World Masters Athletics Championships in his age category. Beyond the sports field, he built a distinguished academic career as a university professor, teaching at institutions in Prešov, Košice, and Nitra. His passion for both education and teamwork led him to coach and guide student teams to victory in several international university competitions in volleyball, basketball, and handball. He is also the founder of the Prešov Veterans Games, a celebrated event that brings together former athletes in the spirit of fair play and lifelong fitness.
