We build a brand new bungalow on 2 1/2 acres of land. Fruit trees, mountain views, Country atmosphere. The real Thailand. Close to both Bypass and highway running through Chiang Dao, but quiet, except for the odd rooster or dog ;-) There is outside, as well as inside seating. You can make a reservation, for both Thai or Western Food or to order alcohol or food for your room.
We have owned both Mon and Kurt's Restaurant and Chiang Dao Biker Saloon on the past. Recently, we moved the restaurant kitchen to our property, which makes it very convenient for our guests. Thai food is very reasonable and Western Food comparable to other places. Mon is a Chef, who has also worked as a chef in Canada. Mon speaks both English and Thai and Kurt speaks English, German plus a little bit of Thai and Spanish.
We are about two blocks from Wat Ban Don Si Sa At. It is a fairly quit neighborhood (for Thailand) with foreigners as well as Thai people living nearby. There are many places to walk from here, or explore by bicycle. Taxi service and motorcycle taxi may be available, depending on the time. Booking a trip to other places or town, may be possible, at additional cost. To this date, the google map GPS locator, may still be off by about 200 meters. Continue straight for about another 200 meters and you will see our Paradise Hill sign. Turn left, down the hill, after this. The driveway curves to the right and you will soon see our bungalow.
