From the owner of Lillibets Golden Apple Villa is a two-bedroom self-catering cottage with air-conditioned bedrooms located just a few minutes walk from Castara's beautiful Little Bay beach. The cottage was previously listed and marketed under the name Castara Bay Eco-Villa, but property is now under new (improved) ownership and management. THE CLAY OVEN- a clay oven created by the local people to demonstrate
and keep the old traditions of village. This is a working oven looked
after by some lovely local ladies.
One Wednesday's Thursdays and Saturdays you can see them in action by 1030 am
and buy freshly made bread and pastries. You can go and place your
orders in early.
THE WATERFALL- set within the rain forest and only a short walk
following the river. You can ask a local guide to show you the way, then
relax and enjoy a bathe in the cooling waters.
BOAT TRIPS- can be arranged with experienced and qualified local guys
or ALIBABA TOURS.
SNORKELLING- on the beach or any of the many other beaches around
the island is a great activity
SCUBA DIVING- opportunities are available in CASTARA, STORE BAY
AND SPEYSIDE.
RAINFOREST TRIPS- and much more are also available.
