After 25 years we are still as passionate to take care of our Hotel guests. Our small dedicated Team of 10 will make sure you have a memorable stay, being a smaller hotel we can really give the personal service you deserve. The Restaurant and Bar downstairs is open from midday and is a great place to meet Residents and Tourists. There are comfortable places to work, study, write your blog or browse your favourite social media, all possible with our dedicated WIFI.

We opened Q-Bar 1997, a laid back meeting point with 12 rooms, over the years it grew to 17 individually decorated rooms. The downstairs Bar & Restaurant has Live music and DJ's on Thursday, Friday and Saturday's. The rooms are comfortable, clean and safe. All private rooms have Ac, Refrigerator, Digital Safe, Mosquito net, Tv, and a writing desk, all other rooms have an en-suite Bathroom. The Guest House has four floors and no lift, but the exercise is free of charge. On the top floor you can just make out the Indian Ocean. We are here to take care of you and answer any questions, Q-Bar is the perfect place to explore the Peninsula and the City.

Q-Bar is located in a great neighbourhood, on a beautiful Peninsula. The area is a good mix of Residential, Shops, Restaurants. and there is always something to do. Around the corner from us you have the famous Tinga Tinga market which is a must visit in Dar es Salaam. There is also a Supermarket, Hairdresser and Spa, Pharmacy, Post Office, and several restaurants close to us. Coco Beach is a ten minute walk from us, it is popular for swimming, jogging, Martial Art, Kite and wave surfing. On the Peninsula you will also find several restaurants with playgrounds and at the Slipway you can catch the boat to the Island or take the glass bottom boat out to look at the sea life. It is generally safe to walk around during the day but as in any big city, avoid bringing valuables with you. Taxi, Bajaj (Tuk Tuk) and Boda Boda (motorbikes) are easy to find as well. Uber works a treat and is very affordable.
