My Partner and I likes travelling and experiencing culture difference, see new places etc, while traveling locally and abroad, we came with an idea why shouldn't we do something for the people who visit Dar either for short stay or a long stay, who would wish to stay and experience and see typical Swahili life on how people they live, that's what drove us on finding this location and develop our Accommodation Facility

Swahili Home BnB is situated in the Swahili neighbourhood where our guests will have a chance to experience the typical local Swahili life just outside of our property like people who are selling local snacks like Vitumbua and Small fish (Dagaa) but the inside of the property is fully relaxing, Artistic and unique also we have decorated culturally. Our Accommodation has different types of beds, We have considered people who want to share the rooms by providing rooms with double deckers too. So there are single/double beds and double-deckers. Our Rooms are 9 in total having 5 rooms with double deckers. You will get a chance to taste our local snacks/bites during breakfast (things like Vitumbua, Maandazi, Mihogo(Casava etc) just to make you taste our local snacks for breakfast, but we also provide bread butter, Jam, eggs (of you're choice) etc for breakfast.
Swahili home is situated close to almost everything we have a local bar having a very good ambience (good sport for barbequed meat and drinks also they have TV screens showing live soccer matches. We are close to the beach “Coco Beach “ only 2km away its a public beach which has good restaurants along its coast,
Close to the hospitals, A mall called “Dar Free Market Mall” where you can go for the ATM, Cinema, Shopping etc. Also if you are a Golfer then you can play at The Gymkhana Golf Course.

The area is safe and when your outside the Accommodation you will get to see typical daily Swahili life (if your okay with it just greet them by saying “mambo or Jambo” to the locals and they'll be happy and responding to you “poa”. Our Facility is close to the famous beach in Dar Called Coco Beach just a kilometre away, you can plan a trip to town for Dar Tour, also we are Close to the Mall Called Dar Free Market (DFM) , Close to the sports ground called Leaders Club etc. And Famous place for bars, night clubs, Sports Bars and other hotels called Oysterbay / Masaki
