The home is near Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating in winter. There is also a picnic area, pavilion, and playground! Visit the beautiful Flume and Hardy Rd trails for easy scenic hikes in Wilmington. Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and boasts over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades and slides for the advanced, and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail,' and total skiing/boarding stretches over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, and more. Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with dining, unique & locally-owned shops.
