Guests will access the home down a few steps to a walkway between the house and fence through a gate. This is located 1.5 miles east of UAB is walkable to all of the great restaurants in the area, as well as campus. Parking can be limited, so please limit the number of cars your group drives, as street parking can be a challenge on busier days or nights.

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom, pet-friendly lower unit of a colonial revival-style home is located just east of UAB, near Birmingham's Red Mountain area. It sleeps 4 with a queen bed and pullout sofa and is walkable to restaurants and the UAB campus. It's minutes from the zoo and 20 minutes from hiking at Red Mountain Park. The kitchenette allows for light meal prep. Our photos include professional shots and real-time images, so you know exactly what to expect. We would love to host you! Guests will access the home through a door at the back of the home by walking down the sidewalk to the left of the home. The door is opened with a digital keypad, and opens into the kitchenette and laundry area. The eat-in kitchenette has all of the basic essentials for cooking, minus a stove, oven, and dishwasher. The kitchenette opens to a large living area with a Roku TV, pull out queen sleeper sofa, designated workspace, and additional seating. Through the living room is the hallway leading to the full bathroom with tub, and king master bedroom. Please note you do have to walk down a few stairs and a gangway to get to the entrance of the home, this entry may not be ideal for anyone with mobility challenges. A pack 'n play/travel crib is available upon request. Guests will have access to the entire downstairs B unit. We do rent out the upstairs A unit separately, so the yard and parking are shared with the B unit guests.
