Barlow Haus is a charming, rustic cabin built in 1957, lovingly restored and updated. We fell in love with its location—nestled on two acres, with trees surrounding every window. During the rainy months, a stream flows through the property, adding the peaceful sound of running water. The Sandy River is just across the street, and a great beach access point for both kids and adults is only a few minutes away.

Born & raised in Portland, OR we've lived and enjoyed the Pacific Northwest our entire lives. My fiancee Kelsey and I met at the University of Oregon and have lived together ever since relocating back to the Portland area after school. We've enjoyed restoring this cabin together and try to visit any opportunity we can get. It's truly become our home away from home. We enjoy traveling, the outdoors and trying new restaurants in the PNW.

The location of Barlow Haus is a large part of why we fell in love with it. The property is located on two acres, trees will surround every window you look out of. In the rainy months, a stream runs through the property and you can hear the sound of water flowing. The river is across the street and a fantastic beach access point for both kids and adults is just a few minutes away. The property is ideally situated for outdoor enthusiasts, with Mount Hood only 20 minutes away and numerous lakes, rivers, hiking, and biking trails in close proximity. Return home from a day of hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or mushroom foraging to a cozy house, a campfire, and smores, or a hot tub and sauna surrounded by 360 degrees of forest.
