This single-story, oceanfront home sits five miles north of small-town Brooklin. The house itself is private and independent, but it is also part of a larger family compound with a common road (and the homeowner living next door). Hike the Hundred Acre Wood Trail just down the street, head out to Deer Isle for a quiet day of exploring (eight miles south), and take unforgettable excursions to Acadia National Park (37 miles). The cottage is a showcase of its surroundings, from the path that leads through the trees to the ocean shore to the glass doors and windows that frame the view at every turn. After a day spent hiking, kayaking, sailing, or driving the Midcoast, come home to light the gas grill, share stories on the back deck, and dine outside in the fresh ocean air. Inside, the light-filled living space is accented by an open floor plan and beautiful details of natural wood. Whether you're utilizing the stainless steel kitchen appliances to prepare dinner, playing board games at the dining room table, or streaming movies in the living room, you'll do it all with a panoramic view of the water. Come nightfall, rest assured that everyone will sleep soundly amidst the plush bedding available in each of the bedrooms. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This cottage is not equipped with a washer/dryer.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
