Enviably situated right in the middle of Acadia National Park, the darling Blueberry Cottage gives you unbeatable access to renowned hiking trails, beautiful ocean beaches, and the many charms of downtown Bar Harbor. This cottage is located in the Otter Creek neighborhood of Mount Desert Island, just five miles south of the restaurants, shops, and galleries in Bar Harbor's historic center. But what's truly special here is the proximity to Acadia, with the Cadillac Mountain South Ridge Trailhead just over half a mile down the road. Sand Beach, the famous Ocean Path, Jordan Pond, and many other park landmarks are within a few minutes' drive or a scenic bike ride. This home has been decorated in soft shades of blue both inside and out, in keeping with its name that honors Maine's beloved state fruit. After catching the sunrise atop Cadillac Mountain or spending the day biking the park carriage roads, you can retire to the back deck for fresh seafood seared on the gas grill. Inside, there's a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an eat-in breakfast table, a living room with a smart TV, and four bedrooms - including one with a desk workspace where you can log onto the high-speed WiFi. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
