Connect to numerous hiking and world-class biking trails right out the back door, or walk across the street to take in the expansive views from Fort Lewis College. The space Designed as a retreat, our space encourages guests to create, draw, write, read, play games, and enjoy each other's company. For those needing to work remotely, we offer high-speed Wifi (~300 Mbps). Other things to note Please note that this unit does not have central air conditioning or heating. There are wall-mounted heaters, ceiling fans, and a window A/C unit in both the bedroom and living room (available June-September only), as well as a tower fan. Pets are not allowed in the unit due to complex rules. Early check-in and late check-out requests are typically not possible due to same-day turnovers. To ensure availability, consider booking the night before or after your stay for a more relaxed schedule before or after your flight. For stays longer than one week, we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, shower supplies, and other "consumables," but these will not be restocked during your stay. This is a smoke-free home with a smart sensor that detects smoking, vaping, noise, and occupancy. The device is privacy-safe and does not record audio or video. Unauthorized guests, indoor smoking/vaping, or disruptive noise may result in a fee and/or immediate removal. A car is recommended for your stay as rideshares are hit or miss in Durango. The condo is located close (5 min drive) to downtown Durango & Fort Lewis College. Purgatory is outside of town and about 35 minutes from the condo.
