Our heated pool and roomy deck offer year-round relaxation before and after your days exploring New Orleans. Your host is Betsy Rayner. Betsy's origins are in the heart of corn country, Illinois. After many visits to New Orleans, where daughter Kelly was attending Loyola University, she fell in love with this city. A visit during the onset of Hurricane Katrina, witnessing the goodwill and resilience of residents, sealed the deal. Betsy is joined by basset hound Mabel. Guests will be treated to a wagging tail and a daily croon of affection. Situated in the historic Faubourg Marigny, we are within easy walking distance to the French Quarter. Within our own neighborhood, we have friendly bars and restaurants, ranging from dive bars to white tablecloth style. The St. Claude streetcar line, right at the end of our street, provides a fun way to explore other parts of the city.
