A 167 year old farmhouse set between rock walls, woods, and lake. The B & B is a highly informal and unhurried place ruled by the restorative rhythms of nature. Nearby Clary Lake offers opportunities for canoeing, fishing, and bird watching. The setting is a journey into quiet countryside simplicity, away from tourist crowds, but convenient to coastal adventures. Children and pets are welcome. Antiques, galleries, and unique shps are located close by, and the innkeeper/custom woodworker will share his craft with you.
Rick and Linda moved to Maine in 2002 to follow their dreams of living rural and Rick developing his woodworking business and school. We moved from Kansas where we loved our entire lives. Linda was a licensed clinical social worker. Linda enjoys gardening which is evident in her many floral and vegetable gardens. Rick enjoyed sailing and skydiving when he wasn't woodworking, teaching, or running the inn.
The B and B is located between Jefferson and Whitefield Maine. We're 30 minutes from Camden and 15 minutes from other coastal locations. The bucolic country side is filled with beautiful vistas and close to many local attractions and special events.
