Get a true cabin experience! This A-Frame cabin is tucked away by green landscapes. Near the Catskill region of Upstate NY. 7 minutes from the infamous Gilbertsville Farmhouse Goat Yoga, 5 minutes to Butternuts Park, 35 minutes from The Baseball Hall Of Frame, and a ton of nature in between. The outside area has a deck, a fire pit area, a hammock, pond views, and an incredible sight of the Milky Way on a clear night. The stars here will blow you away. The space Where cozy and the wilderness come together. This cabin has everything you would want to get away from your busy work life. Enjoy the fire pit area when it gets dark to see unbelievable stars including views of the milky way and a bright night sky. The outdoor area also includes views of cleared landscapes, a view of a pond, a large deck with an outdoor couch and an outdoor dinning table. On the inside of the house you will walk into a completely wood built cabin containing a loft area that is accessed by a spiral staircase. The loft area was hand designed to be a peaceful getaway. This experience is perfect for those that want to enjoy vacationing close to nature.
It is important for the body to decompress and getaway from the busy life we all live. My Fiance and I bought this cabin during the height of the pandemic because we wanted to get out of our apartment during lock-down. Enjoy it as much as we did, it truly is a gem in upstate NY.
The neighborhood is right next to the Butternuts town park, which is one of the nicest town parks you will see. It has access to the river where you can fish, kayak, go for a swim, grill, take a dip, etc. The property is truly remote and the closest city nearby is Oneonta which is a 30 minute drive. The neighborhood you will be staying in is a peaceful and secluded cabin. If you are looking for a real cabin experience, this is the place. There is parking at the property with a driveway that can fit up to 6 cars. You can freely get around with any type of car. During the winter you may want to use a car that has 4 wheel drive if there is snow on the ground.
