The Bayside Getaway is a beautiful bayside cottage and is located along a tributary of the Rehoboth bay with direct access to the water. The cottage is within the gated community of Angola by the Bay (ABTB) which is in Lewes, DE. About a block away from the front door is one of the three private crabbing and fishing docks, kayak launch and marina! Enjoy walking or biking along the water and trails throughout the community. The community pool is olympic size has a kiddie pool and snack bar which is always a favorite! Relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the water pretty much everynight! We have kayaks for use as well. The community clubhouse has basketball, tennis and pickleball courts as well as bacci ball, baseball field and playground for the kids. All is free to use when you stay! Just down the road is great entertainment spots such as 'Paradise Grille' for a beachy restaraunt experience with cocktails for adults and ice cream for the kids. Excellent golf courses such as 'baywood greens' and 'plantation lakes' are just down the road as well and are among the top courses in the state. Dont forget Delaware has tax free shopping and the 'Tanger' outlets and many other outlets are just down on rt. 1 from the house. Of course the beaches (Rehoboth, Dewey, Lewes) are just a short drive away which is why many people come to the beach! There are water parks such as 'jungle jim's that also have go carts, there is putt putt also minutes away. Other highlights are places like 'shell we bounce' trampoline park, the Rehoboth boardwalk or for those other game nights there is 'lefty's alley and eats', This place has bowling, arcades, laser tag, a bar for adults and much more. There are wineries just down the road as well as breweries such as 'dogfish' brewery as well. On those rainy or lazy days head over to Midway for go carts or to watch a movie at the theatre. All in all this neighborhood and it's location are ideal for any family vacation! Come join the fun!!

This bayside cottage is ran by Tim and Allison. We are a small family of four and decided to get this house as a vacation house for our family. We love it so much and we stay here as much as we can. Our kids absolutely love running/biking around the neighborhood going up to the clubhouse to play pickleball and basketball or just exploring. They also love, love the docks where they stay all day long sometimes trying to catch crabs and usually get about a dozen each time they go. We decided to open up the house as a rental to help us pay for the bills so we can continue to keep it for our use as well as allowing guests to enjoy our little slice of heaven also!

The neighborhood has a clubhouse which has an olympic size pool, kiddie pool, snack bar, pickle ball, basketball, tennis courts. It also has a baseball field, bacci courts and there is a grove where small summer concerts are held and sometimes venders are there to sell various food items. The neighboorhood is full of walkers and bikers all day long that use the road and walking trails that go all around the wooded areas behind the houses. There are numerous crabbing/fishing docks where you can fish or crab or just relax on a beach chair and enjoy the sunset over the water. The coastline is over a mile long and there is a large marina with boats coming and going all day. The community is gate and a code is needed to make entry which is great for safety. Everyone is so friendly in the neighborhood and this is such an enjoyable place.
