We found our favorite NC beach town. Come experience the beauty of Oak Island in this spacious refurbished cottage under the most beautiful twisted oaks on a quiet street on the friendliest little island. Oak Island's uncrowded beaches are just a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Walk to the dock at end of the street to fish or read or launch your kayak to explore the historic intracoastal waterway and end your day watching the sun set over the water.
We love traveling as a family and staying in short term rentals. We just refurbished our perfect beach house and are excited to host for the first time.
The neighbors call this Dream Street. It's a quiet and friendly little street with a dock at the end.
The island is easy to navigate. OKI is one of the last beaches with free parking everywhere. For a super fun vacation you can rent a golf cart during your stay.
