This warm, inviting and recently renovated Rockaway Beach getaway sits on the west side of Highway 101, just across a quiet street from miles of sandy beach. Perfect for memorable family vacations, this three bedroom cottage is filled with cozy charm and nestled between a natural wetland pond and the ocean in the popular southern area of town. From the moment you first drive up, you'll be charmed by the beachy exterior and big front porch, complete with Adirondack chairs for sitting back and relaxing with a morning cup of coffee! Once inside, there's ample coastal character, with ship replicas on the mantle, a white paneled ceiling, and seashells decorating the tables; but, you'll also find a touch of traditional style courtesy the oriental rugs and hardwood floors. There's a colorful brick wood fireplace so bring some wood with you, TV with streaming and a DVD player, comfy seating, and room for the whole family to spread out and watch a movie or find their own quiet place to curl up with a good book. The full kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances, pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils, and dinnerware you need to serve a group of hungry beachcombers. Pick up some fresh seafood at the market and whip up a delicious fish dinner in no time! There's even a dishwasher for easy clean-up. The full-sized washer and dryer are also located in the kitchen and ready for your wet beach clothes after a day of exploring. A formal dining room has ample seating for meals or there's plenty of space on the back deck to have an outdoor feast. Accessed through a glass door from the kitchen, the deck is outfitted with an outdoor table and patio umbrella for shade. After spending the day at the beach, fire up the gas grill and cook up some juicy burgers for a laid-back summer barbecue. And, after the kids have gone to bed, you can spend cool, clear evenings on the deck with a glass of wine. This home has three bedrooms and one full bath, all located on one level.
