Named Coyote Cabin, this cabin the first of several cabins that will be situated on the 92-acre retreat property known as Woodland Retreat at DeSoto. As its name implies, this cabin and retreat property offer guests a peaceful retreat and cool mountain getaway, deep in the woods and high atop Lookout Mountain in Alabama. Explore waterfalls, parks, shops, and restaurants. Relax by the rock fire pit or on the front porch with a cup of coffee, and enjoy views through a canopy of trees.

This retreat property borders DeSoto State Park. You will want a car to see the sites and experience why Lookout Mountain in Alabama has so much to offer guests for a perfect vacation experience! You will be given access to a list of favorite attractions and restaurants! Waterfalls, national preserve, state parks, zip lining, hiking, picnicking, rappelling, horseback trail rides, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, wild animal preserve, golfing, swimming, museums, glass blowing, making pottery, skiing (seasonal), axe throwing, unique local dining, antique shopping, scenic drives, and MORE! So that you can experience life on the mountain like locals, we provide our guests with a list of all the attractions and restaurants! Chattanooga is only an hour away - Birmingham and Atlanta are less than 2 hours away! Once the reservation is complete, and 24 hours before scheduled check-in, Guests will receive access to the retreat property.
