Come stay in the ♥ of downtown Gainesville at this cozy 1,100 sq ft 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom townhome. This 3/1 home boasts new and comfy memory foam beds, high-speed WiFi, an HDTV w/ Amazon FireStick, & more. Walk 3min to Depot Park, a few blocks to downtown, and a short drive to Shands and UF campus Fast WiFi (~100mbs) 50" smart HDTV Free parking (2 cars) Split bath Professional service cleans before/after every guest.
I'm a Gainesville native (local for 11 years here before taking off to explore SF, NY, Miami, and the rest of the world) and fly-by-the-seat of my pants traveler always on the lookout for the world's best foods, sunsets and places to explore. I love spending time in nature, practicing yoga, swimming in the ocean, training handstands and of course, tasting yummy foods. Happy to share recommendations or tips on what to eat and where to be :) Fully available to answer questions but won't be around in person - the place is all yours.
This home is on the edge of Porter's Community, an "up & coming," multi-cultural / diverse neighborhood located a block from the newly created Depot Park and centrally between UF campus and downtown Gainesville, just south of the newly developed Innovation District. This house is in a great location for conveniently getting to all major places of interest in Gainesville, including UF campus, Innovation district, downtown, midtown, Gator Football Stadium, Shands, the airport, and more. Porter's has experienced a number of milestones over the past year. It's central location has led it to become one of the most up and coming areas in Gainesville, with community tended gardens, drastically reduced crime rates and a "family-vibe" throughout. Porter's is a safe area, however, as we would in any downtown environment, we advise our guests to remain cautious of your surroundings at night, keep valuables out of sight, and keep the doors/windows locked when away. 2 parking spots out front. Walk to Depot Park and/or downtown. Uber also works well, or walk a few blocks to catch a bus or bike to campus or the trails.
