This lovely cottage sitting on almost 3 acres of wooded land is nestled perfectly in the gateway to the Catskills region. It’s a wonderful getaway from the city to recharge, relax and enjoy the nature that is readily available. The outdoor pergola is the perfect setting to enjoy the serenity of a relaxing morning, day or evening. When you come up here, you can enjoy cooking, bbqing, hiking or any of the other multitude of activities that the Catskills region is famously known for. This cape cod style cottage is situated at the end of a gravel strewn driveway lined on both sides by giant pine trees offering shade and privacy from the road. The cottage has just been renovated (new floors, brand new kitchen and bathroom). We love how the backyard opens directly to a small forest that you can explore and hike around in as well as the proximity to shops, restaurants, hiking, and kayaking in the Delaware River. Don’t be surprised to hear a woodpecker or two as you enjoy your morning coffee or a lazy afternoon barbecuing and hanging out in the pergola.
We are an American and French married couple from NYC and Paris. We welcome you warmly to our lovely home away from the city.
Our house is a 10-15min drive from the Arnold House (wedding venue, bar/restaurant) and the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (Woodstock!). There are shops, restaurants/bars, and outdoor activities galore within driving distance.
