The Sunrise Shack is a 1940’s tropical beach home just moments away from the beach, boardwalk, lake, and state park! This cozy coastal design and creative space is conveniently located in the heart of Carolina Beach and only 2 blocks from the beach and lake. A 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk is lots of great restaurants, shops, rentals, amusement rides, bars, coffee, ice-cream, donuts, an arcade & more! Enjoy a hike through the state park, a visit to the aquarium, or a summer movie by the lake!

Hello everyone! We are a small family of 3 and we’re so excited that you will be staying with us! Michael grew up in Carolina Beach and has lived here for more than 25 years. Jesslyn is from a small town in North Carolina, and together we plan to grow our family here! We desire to share our love for the island with friends, family, and guests and hope you have a wonderful experience during your stay.

Just moments away from the beach, Carolina Beach Lake, surfing, kayaking, fishing charters, boardwalk fun, restaurants, shopping, and nationally ranked Britt's Donut Shop! Theres no need to drive when you stay at the Sunrise Shack! 10 min drive to Fort Fisher and NC Aquarium. 30 min drive to downtown Wilmington. 40 min drive to Wilmington International Airport. Our home is centrally located and within walking distance (5 minutes) to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, home of the famous Britt’s Donuts and lots of restaurants, shopping, and bars. You can take the sidewalk directly to the beach using crosswalks with flashing signals. We have a small full bathroom with stand-up shower, as indicated in photos. We do not have a bathtub.
