Welcome to Eden Brae, a renovated Southern Gothic mansion, which was featured in Birmingham Magazine as one of the coolest rentals in Birmingham. Built in 1910 and renovated in 2018, the house combines historic charm with modern style and can sleep over 22 in beds. Fantastic for groups, family reunions, wedding parties, and special events, the house offers unique 'separate, togetherness' with 5 separate apartments: three 2 bedroom/1 bath apartments and two 1 bedroom/1 bath -- each with its own private, exterior entrance. Perfect for entertaining and mingling, the house has several gathering areas indoors and out. You'll love the spacious chef's kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, outdoor lounge areas, and the natural gas grill.

Neighbourhood information

Eden Brae is on Cliff Road, between the popular neighborhoods of Forest Park and Highland Park. While you are with us, be sure to venture out into the neighborhood. Just a few blocks away, you will find parks, restaurants, coffee, golf, and tennis! Highland Park Golf and Tennis Club is just a block away. Open to the public, it is very easy to play a round of golf or a game of tennis during your stay. If you are in the mood for something more relaxed, take a stroll down Highland Avenue. Rushton Park, one of the three parks lining Highland Avenue, is just a couple of blocks away. A favorite among locals, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a pretty day. Or, walk to Forest Park, which is home to a couple of cute restaurants and shops, or head to Avondale, with its beautiful park, brewery, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and music venues. Eden Brae is just a couple of miles from most of Birmingham's most popular attractions: Railroad Park, the Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Avondale, Sloss Furnace, the Art Museum, Regions Field, Vulcan Park, and Downtown's Entertainment and Civil Rights Districts. All are easily accessibly by bike or by car/Lyft/Uber.
