The owner is a professional artist so the house is filled with art and antiques. There is also an 850 sq ft Artist studio on the 3rd floor. The home was custom-built with balconies off every floor and a private pool, 2 fountains, and 2 patios.
I am a professional artist and I teach Painting to adults and teens. In the summer and at Christmas I travel and paint Plein Air. I enjoy sharing my love of art and my home with others! Most of the art in my home is for sale.
The house is located in River Oaks, Upper Kirby District and there are numerous Gourmet restaurants, High-end shops like Tootsies, and antique shops, within walking distance from my front door. Also, Whole Foods is 3 blocks away and the city bus stops at my corner, so you don't have to have a car from this location. Levy Park is 4 blocks from my house and River Oaks Country Club is less than a mile away. The medical center is 2.5 miles away, Wortham Center Downtown is 3.7 miles away and HMFA is 2.2 miles away. In other words, my house is in the perfect location for touring Houston.
