We love to travel and hope you do too! We have been coming to Hawaii for several years and decided the Big Island is our home. We used to stay in Kona and drive up here almost daily, so we decided to stay in Waikoloa Beach. Our condo is located in the perfect location, easily walk to restaurants, shops and the beach.
The condo is on the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course. Several restaurants and bars with live music are nearby. You must try to get to the sunset every day. They are epic!
I recommend a car just because you will want to explore the beauty of the Island, but you can take a bus or taxi to the Waikoloa Beach Resort from the airport. Once up here, there is a shuttle that can take you around the resort and to the close neighboring resorts. You can rent a car at the Marriott or the Hilton if you decide to come up without one and need one for a day.
