This is a quiet neighborhood with single-family homes. Fort Freedom is at the end of the street in a little cul-de-sac, so there is almost no through traffic. There is a Piggly-Wiggly supermarket, a liquor store and an ACE Hardware just across the main road when you drive back to Ribaut Road. there are also a number of good restaurants nearby. You are only about 5 minutes from Port Royal, 7 minutes from Parris Island USMC Base and 10 minutes from historic downtown Beaufort.
