For golfers there are in and around Cape Coral several golf courses: Cape Coral Golf & Tennis Resort, Coral Oaks, Moor Loch Country Club, Palmetto - Pine Country Club, El Rio Golf Club and Cape Coral Executive Golf Club, just to name a few. The Beaches of Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel & Captiva Island are just over 25 minutes by car and you will find great (outlet) shopping malls and restaurants in Fort Myers and Naples. The popular 'Rumrunners' restaurant and 'Fathoms', both in Cape Harbour, are just a short drive away as is 'Marker 92', which is located at Tarpon Pointe Marina. Fort Myers is world famous as a winter training camp for the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins baseball teams.
