Step inside this romantic cabin and appreciate the lake view from the kitchen, relax by the fire in the living room, enjoy dinner on the deck, and unwind in the hot tub. Delight in the discrete seasonal decorations and amenities, and follow the changing trees as they hint of the upcoming season. Spot a deer as the sun sets on Taylorsville Lake, and enjoy a peaceful evening with a book from our Lending Library. Or, watch a bluray movie from a diverse collection at the cabin. In the summer, be entertained in the pool, just a short walk from the cabin, or play sand volleyball with friends and family. Grill your dinner on the back deck, or cook S’Mores at the fire pit down the street. Enjoy the outdoors, but come back to the cabin for a cool retreat in stylish surroundings.
In 2017, The Weitz Family of Dayton, Ohio; joined the Edgewater Community as the owners of Cottage 37. Carpenters by trade; remodelers by default! Armed with an arsenal of skilled trades they commenced work on the cabin starting with the four-season theme. The wall hangings were chosen to mirror Kentucky’s beautiful hills, Derby culture, and the water of Taylorsville Lake.
Four Seasons Cabin at Edgewater Resort overlooks Taylorsville Lake Marina, where lunch can be had, or a boat rented for the day. The lake is perfect for a getaway of water skiing, fishing, or simply relaxing on a pontoon. There are many area restaurants, historic sites, wineries, and the bourbon trail that can keep you occupied throughout your entire stay. Near Louisville, KY, the cabin is a perfect place to stay for the Derby, too! And, Louisville offers the Louisville Slugger Museum, the Louisville Zoo, Mega Cavern, amusement parks, and a fun nightlife! Or plan a day trip to Bardstown, KY for a slice of history and see The Stephen Foster Story, an outdoor musical, or visit a plantation home or a Civil War Museum. Edgewater Resort is truly a central spot to get a good taste of Kentucky. And the Four Seasons Cabin is the perfect vacation rental to come back to!
