Co-host Scott will be your main point of contact. He lives 10 minutes away and is here to help with anything you need, answer your questions about the area and activities. He can help you make arrangements for many local activities with folks who will take great care of you. He knows the the waters and forests here well, and can give you recommendations for the best places to hike, paddle, ski or eat.

We are located 10 minutes from Gore Mountain, along county route 72 also known as Garnet Lake Road, in the South Central Adirondacks, 40 minutes North of Lake George and 1 1/2 hours South of Lake Placid and the High Peaks. This is a less intensely utilized area of the 6.3 million acre Adirondack State Park. There are many pristine lakes and hiking trails nearby. Crane Mountain is close by. It is one of the best hikes in the region. Garnet Lake is our favorite for Paddling and only 5 minutes away. 13th Lake is also wonderful, about a 25 minute drive. Short hikes close by include Kibby Pond, Cod Pond, Sacandaga Gorge, Siamese Ponds Wilderness, 2nd Pond, 11th Mountain, and Rabbit Pond. There are literally hundreds of hiking trails in the area. See the AllTrails App for information about these hikes and many more. The nearest neighbors are about 1/4 mile away and rarely make much noise. Folks around here sometimes run machinery, ride ATVs or target shoot.
