Located on the Gulf of Mexico, this Galveston hotel features an outdoor pool surrounded by tropical landscapes, poolside dining and rooms with flat-screen TVs. Scholes Airport is 10 minutes away. Every room at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort includes a coffee maker, satellite TV and compact refrigerator. Upscale amenities include a bathrobe and slippers. Guests can order evening room service and there is a seating area in each room. Some rooms offer a balcony overlooking the ocean. Galveston Island Hilton Resort has a fitness centre and a business center with free WiFi. A 24-hour front desk, concierge services and a gift shop are provided. Palm Court restaurant, is open all day and serves Caribbean inspired dishes and American cuisine. Guests can enjoy poolside cocktails and light dining at Coconuts Bar and Grill or inside at the Lobby Bar. The Galveston Island Convention Center is located next to the Resort Hilton Island Galveston.
