We have a deep love for old homes and the stories they hold. Over the years, we’ve been restoring and caring for a collection of historic houses in Wausau, bringing new life to spaces built in the 1800s and early 1900s. For us, hosting is more than offering a place to stay—it’s about sharing the charm, comfort, and character of these homes with travelers who appreciate history and a cozy, lived-in feel. When we’re not working on our homes we enjoy spending time with our five kids, three cats, and a dog. We enjoy biking, traveling, nature, and savoring local food.
The home is located in the Andrew Warren National Historic District. The lovingly cared for homes just outside of downtown create a beautiful backdrop to start your Wausau adventures. From the front porch it’s an easy stroll to downtown, museums, restaurants, the Grand Theater, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, and the River Walk Trail.
