I LOVE travelling. I have been fortunate to have been able to explore dozens of countries over the years and love meeting new people and experiencing new places, food, and cultures. I discovered Airbnb sometime ago through my travels and, with the help of my team, am now hosting several of my own apartments :) We've hosted thousands of guests already! and I am doing my best to provide for others what I have liked most in the Airbnbs that i have personally stayed at. Less than a mile away from Overtone square one of Midtown, Memphis most attractive places to eat out, listen to music, and grab a drink. The space is perfect for an individual or couple looking for a great place to get some work done or to relax and enjoy the town for a while. Please keep in mind that the building is over 100 years old and while it has a ton of character it also has some old walls so you may hear footsteps from apartments on the top floor at times. The original apartment was built in 1910, so you will find a ton of those details in the apartment but in restored condition. I kept the original doors and flooring, among other details :) It's a one-bedroom, but I took the door off since it was just me to open the space up a bit. The place is perfect for an individual or couple coming to enjoy Midtown Memphis and will have all the essentials for you! Guest access While there are several entry doors the best entry is the one from the driveway on your left. The apartment is on the first floor just to your right. You will have full access in the apartment; there are no locked doors or cabinets. Other things to note The whole building has a total of 8 apartments.

Memphis, Tennessee, United States Walk out the front door and 100 yards down the street brings you to a bustling corner with a jazz restaurant, Moroccan and Mexican restaurants and, of course, a delicious BBQ joint. Keep walking or take a short uber another .75 miles to Overton square, one of Memphis' most happening areas with a host of other restaurants and bars. Head downtown the other direction in a short uber and you'll find yourself engulfed in Memphis' blues scene on the famous Beale street. In addition to the many great eateries (which you'll find in the guidebook i'll send you) there are several parks nearby and places to relax. Getting around Uber or Lyft are readily available and definitely the best option. There is a trolley that runs down Madison and will bring you to downtown if you want a little more of a historic experience heading downtown.
