Hi! Seth and Emmye are hosts for unique homes atop Lookout Mountain. In 2018, we went on an adventure to find our first home and job after college. The first tiny home we stayed in made us fall in love with this area, community, and a new concept of living. The Whimsical Waterfall Cottage at Blueberry Falls Farm Tucked above a peaceful creek and waterfall, this whimsical cottage is a cozy escape for families, couples, or small groups. Set on Blueberry Falls Farm, a working u-pick blueberry farm in Mentone, AL, the home blends rustic charm with playful details. Relax in the hot tub on the porch (available with additional fee), gather by the wood-burning fireplace, or watch your favorite shows on the outdoor TV while listening to the sound of rushing water. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming main-floor bedroom with a queen bed, plus a loft (about 4 ft high) that holds two full beds—perfect for kids or extra guests. The living space is designed for comfort, whether you’re curling up after a day of exploring or planning tomorrow’s adventures. Outside, hammocks and yard games invite you to slow down and soak in the farm’s natural beauty. Just a short stroll from the cottage, you’ll discover the farm’s shared spaces: an overlook bridge and rooftop deck with stunning waterfall and pond views, and The Creek House Lounge game room below, where foosball, crafts, and PlayStation await. A separate bathhouse with showers and restrooms is also available for guest use, adding to the “tiny-home village” feel of the property. Seasonal life on the farm makes each stay unique. From mid-June through August, you can wander the blueberry rows and pick your own fruit, and in July the annual blueberry festival brings live energy to the property. Because this is an active farm, you may see staff (and Maggie, the friendly farm dog) tending the land, or hear routine landscaping on Thursdays. It’s all part of the authentic, lively farm atmosphere that makes Blueberry Falls so special.
