My B&B is located in Copper Center, Alaska, the town in which I was born and raised and where my family has lived since 1948. Our family owned and operated a local historic hotel that was lost to a devastating fire in 2012. I have returned to my hometown to be near my family and to do the one thing we were all brought up to do, be a bright light that beckons you while you are traveling. Be a warm place to take your snowy boots off, be a wealth of information regarding both local history; and last but not least we provide a delightful atmosphere, good food and a beautifully prepared, delicious food. My interests are very diverse. I enjoy fitness and healthy living as well exploring the world around me. Most of my exploring is centered around my biggest passion which is art. I am mad for this and attempt to paint many things that do not move. Most of the furniture in the B&B has been hand painted by me as well as almost all the buildings on the property. My latest endeavor includes the restoration and painting of vintage camp trailors. They can be seen on the property if you come visit.

My neighborhood is small but packed with history. We love sharing our family history as well as historical information and pictures. We can also provide ideas for day treks and local places to vist while you stay.
