Aloha & welcome to Hale Moana! This bright and airy studio apartment was remodeled in 2019 and new furnishings in April 2021. It is conveniently located in downtown Kailua-Kona. Our studio is the perfect launching point for strolling along the Oceanside, dining, shopping, visiting the beach, taking a day trip or just watching the gorgeous sunsets. Located on the ground floor this studio allows for easy access. Relax poolside or in the jacuzzi or take a walk down Ali’i Drive where you can stroll along the Ocean while enjoying the best dining and shopping around. But remember to stop and watch the breathtaking sunsets that Kona is famous for. The studio is fully furnished with a King size bed, four drawer tall dresser, flat screen tv, eating tables inside and on the lanai (in case you would like to enjoy your coffee or cocktail and view the Plumeria trees growing right outside the lanai). There is AC and complimentary high speed Wifi. The kitchen is equipped with a mini-frig, induction burner, toaster, coffee maker, utensils and basic cooking essentials. The studio has a modern beach cottage vibe and is the perfect place to rest and relax on your Big Island adventure.

The Kona Islander Inn is within waking distance of the main hub of Kailua-Kona. You can walk right through the complex grounds to the ocean and to lots of shops and restaurants. Left on Ali’i Drive takes you to Coconut Grove which has lots of shops and restaurants and right will take you to the Kona Inn (get a mai-tai at the old bar in the restaurant there) and lots more shopping as well as the Queen Liliuokalani Palace. We recommend taking a walk and checking it out. There are also nice beaches in the area. Remember to take in the amazing Kona sunsets!
