We are an oasis of rest & relaxation in the high desert plains of southeastern Colorado for the weary traveler. We have a fun mix of cozy rustic & deluxe cabins, and tiny homes. Staying in a cabin is a great, safer alternative to having strangers above, below & across the hall from you! We have great free WiFi, a cool summer pool for kids of all ages, a fun playground and mini-golf. Our campground is kid & pet friendly, always clean, quiet when it needs to be, and well maintained. We plant more trees & create more unique water fountains each year, and we encourage recycling. Our convenience store & souvenir shop carries cool local & Colorado coffee & trinkets, camping & RV supplies, local edibles & ice cream! We are always improving - we are adding a new "Rocky Mountain" park model cabin and a train caboose in the spring of 2021! We are consistently rated as one of the top places to stay in the Arkansas Valley!

We feature the largest collection of dinosaur tracks in North America, possibly the world, at Picket Wire Canyon in the Comanche National Grasslands, about 13 miles south of La Junta. Eight miles northeast sits Old Bent's Fort, the primary trading post in the middle of the historic Santa Fe Trail. We also have the Koshare Indian Kiva Museum, featuring authentic indian dances. Oh, and GREAT Mexican food is abundant! We are also within walking distance of a Subway, Village Inn, Walmart, Wendy's Hamburgers and various stores.
