Walk down the short slope to your private dock. Launch the canoe and kayaks and explore the lake. Enjoy nightly sunsets from the dock, deck or west-facing great room and kitchen. If you're observant, you'll see bald eagles, ospreys and herons, and you're bound to see and hear loons. A 2 mile paddle to the lake’s northern edge may reward you with a sighting of the sandhill cranes. Situated at the breezy tip of a peninsula at the Oakland end of East Pond, this home is 6 miles from Colby College.
You will have the entire home. It will feel more like a home than a resort or hotel. The downside of that is that you may not be able to have someone there within 5 minutes if you need help. I am reachable and able to respond to messages and phone calls and have people nearby who can assist as necessary.
