We are a traditional bed & breakfast located in a residential historic neighborhood, Lafayette Square, on a quaint private street. We are just minutes from downtown, Busch Stadium, the City Museum, the Gateway Arch and the riverfront. Other very close by attractions include the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Art Museum, all in Forest Park. Nearby entertainment includes the word renowned St. Louis Symphony, other music venues and performances at the Fox Theater. Each room is uniquely decorated, preserving the historic charm and character of this historic mansion. Some rooms have working fireplaces. All rooms have comfortable beds, complimented by antique furnishings. There are several common rooms for guests lounging or gathering, a guest lounge with small fridge and a Keurig for complimentary tea, coffee and cocoa at anytime.

I have been an innkeeper sine 1989. I sought out this unique property, with its nine bedrooms, knowing it would be ideal for a bed and breakfast. After two intensive years of renovation and updates, we opened in August 1989. Throughout my 27 years of inn keeping, I have raised five children (now grown) as a way to be a working stay-at-home mom, but very early on fell in love with my job. I love the "work" that goes into getting ready for and hosting my guests, while sharing a little bit of history of St. Louis, as well as the sights of St. Louis, with the world.
