Rebuilt in 2021 after the 2016 Gatlinburg Fire, this cabin is a perfect get-away for two but sleeps up to four, and the paved driveway easily accommodates two cars. It is conveniently located off The Spur between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Minimum age to rent is 21

THE CABIN Life’s a Bear is a 768 sq. ft. two-bedroom log cabin ideal for a short or long vacation away from the bustle of normal life. This cabin delights with its natural pine tongue-and-groove walls, exposed beams, and metal roof. The living area has a gas stone fireplace and large windows for an unsurpassed view of the expansive Smoky Mountains. The living room extends into the dining area and full kitchen. The washer/dryer unit is housed in an adjacent closet. Both bedrooms sleep two with ease and comfort. The master bedroom has a king bed and an open clothes closet. The second bedroom has two single beds elevated for storage space below. For added privacy, each bedroom has its own vanity (with toilet) room. Each has an entrance to the bathing room where the five-foot shower and the jetted tub are located. The porch extends the width of the cabin and continues along the far side to accommodate the hot tub. Of course, a table is available for dining, and the firepit – adjacent to the outdoor grill – will take your cares away while you gaze at nature’s bounty, listening to local wildlife and spotting fireflies. Among the highlights are watching the early morning mist rise, the sunlight move across the mountainside, and the rosy glow of twilight darken into myriad evening shades.
