You'll be in the most sought after cul-de-sac in the Piedmont Ave neighborhood. Just around the corner from this home is Piedmont Ave with all its hip and happenings. With world class restaurants and bars, you'll love your Oakland visit. Directly opposite this home, is a private street leading into a senior home. You will find many friendly elderly folks sitting out on the benches socializing and keeping a watch out for our neighbors. This keeps our neighborhood extremely safe. Couple blocks away is Piedmont Grocery. They are open from 9AM-8PM. CVS is a block after that. Piedmont Ave is a highly desirable neighborhood. The start of the strip has Kaiser Hospital (5 blocks away) and the end of the strip is the Mountain View Cemetery where many high profile folks are layed to rest (docents offer tours every weekend). In between, you will find shops, convenient stores, bars, Micheline star restaurants, neighborhood cinema, book stores and more.
