The huge 500 square foot private deck provides a comfortable place to read, relax or dine (BBQ equipped) while taking in the views. Favorite things are our home and friends, especially Bourbon and Cider who are rescued Goldens and the sweetest dogs! We love visiting the local beaches, preparing meals and enjoying the other animals including Walter the Tortoise, Chickens and Koi. We get excited when we get good reviews and positive comments at our rentals. We truly love the serenity and views here and are very happy to have the opportunity to share this place with travelers from around the world. We appreciate and do not take for granted that guests chose us, stay with us and like the experience. This coastal retreat halfway between LA and SF is a short 12 minute scenic drive to downtown SLO (Thursday Night Farmer’s Market, Cal Poly, restaurants, nightlife etc.) and beautiful Avila Beach (spectacular beach, dedicated dog beach, pier, shops, wineries, etc). Famous Avila and Sycamore Mineral Springs offer a therapeutic experience in a group setting or privately in secluded tubs set amongst the tree-canopied hillside. On the road heading down to Avila, there is a wonderful winery (Kelsey), farm store (Gopher Glen) and fruit and cider ranch (See Canyon Fruit Ranch). You are in a serene and peaceful setting, but not too far from all the action!
