In the heart of Topanga Canyon, a small mountain town, our apartment sits below our home with its own entrance, washer/dryer, renovated kitchenette, carport & private deck with canyon views. We are walking distance from breathtaking trails in the Santa Monica mountains, 15 minutes from the beach, and 45 minutes to an hour to popular Los Angeles city destinations. The apartment features two cozy nooks- each are four feet high. The "sleeping nook" features a queen bed and the "TV nook" has a Nugget (kid-friendly couch bed) for relaxing to an album or favorite show. The property fits two adults comfortably. If children are comfortable sleeping on the pullout couch in the main living area with a mattress topper, or on the Nugget kid couch, that is also an option. Please note that Topanga Canyon is a mountain town, with windy and, at times, poorly maintained public roads. In addition, my property is at the top of a very steep driveway. If your car is low-set, you have the option to park above the property and walk down to the apartment. We highly recommend a 4WD or SUV.

Our home is less than half a mile from several breathtaking Topanga trails. For those looking to venture out, we are a 10 minute drive to downtown Topanga, an adorable pocket of vintage finds and eclectic dining. Within 15-30 minutes you can access the full range of trails and beaches in both Topanga and Malibu. Because we are located at the top of the canyon, we are at the epicenter of LA outdoor adventures. It’s best to have a car in Topanga to access stores and restaurants. Trails are accessible via walking or mountain biking.
