Guests have shared access to the entire main floor of the home which includes the kitchen, dining, half bathroom and uniquely decorated living room area. Enjoy Washington DC Metro (VA, DC & MD). Walk to biggest Shopping center in Alexandria & Fairfax County- almost all the restaurants, shops, stores like Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Shoppers etc. Express & 24/7 public buses to Kings St. & Huntington Metro station which connect to buses, trains, Amtrack to VA, DC & MD. Walk to Sherwood Hospital & regional Library. Close to National Harbor, Fort Belvoir, Old town, DCA Airport, Pentagon & DC and more! Safety - Security cameras/audio recording devices: The home is equipped with a security camera on the main entrance door. There is also a security camera in the front yard and back yard. These cameras will be on during your stay. To maintain the privacy of our guests there are no security cameras or recording devices in private spaces like bedrooms, bathrooms, or sleeping areas. Very quiet, secure and peaceful neighborhood in Mount Vernon. This is the former neighborhood of the First President of America George Washington. The neighborhood encompasses the Museum and Mausoleum of George Washington which is a 2 -5 mins by car or 10 - 15 minutes walk.
