A modern mountain retreat, designed by NY architects IDSR architecture. The house is set within the tree canopy of the Catskills. It is situated close to hiking, skiing and fishing destinations. Both Bellayre and Hunter are about 20 miles away. Featured in May/June 2019 Dwell Magazine. Please note, there is radiant in floor cooling and a fancoil in the loft in the summer. The house is raised and takes advantage of cross ventilation. We also provide portable tower fans.
I am available via phone or text at any time with questions. The house is yours to enjoy in full privacy.
The neighborhood is semi-rural. There are just a few houses on our street, which is a dead end. This makes it very quiet. Our street is not busy, so you can enjoy a walk or jog up and down the sloped street. While it is possible to take the bus and be dropped off at the bottom of the hill, you will need a car to get around and to buy groceries.
