Our house is sunny, modern and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just minutes from the forest, beaches and Cal Poly Humboldt, you'll be close to everything the region has to offer. Enjoy lounging in the big back yard and roasting s'mores around our fire pit. Our newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook those big family dinners. We designed this space to host our family and friends. We're glad to share it with you too.

Our house is in Sunny Brae, a little hamlet just outside of Arcata. With easy access to Community Forest trails and Murphy's market, it's a great hub for exploring the area. You're just a short walk from a great burrito (El Chipotle), a cup of coffee (Coffee Break) or excellent homestyle Italian dining (La Trattoria). Arcata is about two miles away and we like to walk into town to explore the shops, visit the farmers market and get a great cup of pour over coffee at Brio Bakery. You'll need a car to get the most out of the area. I recommend checking out Redwood National Park to the north, and heading inland to swim in our amazing rivers (check reports on temperature and flow for safety!). Some things are accessible by foot (Murphy's market, Coffee Break, La Trattoria and El Chipotle), and much more is accessible by bike. There is so much to do in the immediate area, and I'm happy to provide suggestions for hiking trails, bike rides (mountain, gravel and road), and great places to eat and drink.
