A motorsports mecca, Brownsburg sits along I-74 just minutes from Indianapolis in northeast Hendricks County and is one of two major hubs for visitors to stay. Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (formerly Lucas Oil Raceway), home of the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals, the most prestigious drag racing event in the world, every Labor Day Weekend, can be found in Brownsburg along with many motorsports team headquarters. The town is also conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, host to the Indianapolis 500.
