Private and peaceful, this cozy cabin is located in boreal forest at the end of a private road close to Fairbanks. You will enjoy exclusive use of this retreat during your stay. The hooting of a great horned owl on the mountain behind the house is only rarely disturbed by the distant moan of the locomotive winding through the valley below.The property that this cabin and the main house sits on feels remote even though it is less than 15 minutes from shopping and Fairbanks International Airport. We have operated for several years and have many positive reviews on several of the other popular listing sites if you are curious for more information and glowing feedback from past guests.
A recent review from a wonderful guest: 10.0. Exceptional Most peaceful place on earth Stayed for 3 nights, perhaps some of the best and most memorable of any other trip I've had - the cabin location is excellent striking the right balance between isolation yet being close enough to anything you may need. The cabin itself is beautiful and quite the engineering wonder - Dan (the owner) has done an admirable job in keeping it cozy, private and intimate yet having all the amenities you may possibly need from fast wifi, hot water, streaming services, DVD's, board games - you name it, it's there!. Upon arrival the condition of the cabin itself was pristine, everything perfectly clean, food in the pantry and eggs ready for next mornings breakfast. Not to mention the cabin being warm and cozy as it was -32C the evening I arrived! Dan himself is very welcoming and a wonderful host, it's easy to appreciate the attention to detail and care that goes into ensuring every guest has the perfect experience. Make this cabin your next stay, you will not regret it - I will surely book again!
