We love creating space for others to enjoy! It truly has become a passion of ours. We moved to Bryson City in 2002 when we bought a whitewater rafting business on the Nantahala River. Wow, we had no idea what a surprise we were in for & how lucky we'd feel to call Bryson City home! We sold the business in 2019 but would not dream of moving away from Bryson City! The Great Smoky Mountains are just gorgeous. We feel thankful everyday that we get to live in such a beautiful part of the country. We love it so much that we decided to extend the opportunity for others to explore the area and make wonderful memories in one of our vacation homes! There is so much to do and it's just a perfect place to relax. We welcome you to come and enjoy this special place that we call home. Peace of Heaven does give you a feeling of complete remoteness as you are settled at the end of the road on 2.8 acres on a mountain ridge. Sound can carry to neighboring houses and we just ask that, particularly in the late hours, you please be mindful of this. The cabin is very close to town and the Polar Express train depot. You can even hear the train whistle from the deck! The town of Bryson City just continues to get more and more like a Hallmark movie! It's small town feel with quaint boutiques and restaurants surrounded by mountains & the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad makes you feel right at home with its Southern Charm. The spring & summer months bring festivals and numerous outdoor activities, the fall foliage is magnificent, and the winter brings us The Polar Express and snow skiing at Cataloochee Resort.
