Dairy Barn circa 1950 nestled next to a pond on 680-acre Pleasant Valley Farm. The "Dairy Barn" was fully functioning until the 1980s. Although completely renovated, the original ceramic tiles remain in what was the milking bay, now a cozy den. The aged metal that was once the roof, now adorns a kitchen wall, island & cabinets throughout. Less than 1 hour from Nashville. Perfect for travel nurses & other medical professionals. Oft-visited by artists, songwriters & authors alike.
I'm happiest on my farm with my family and friends, but I do love to travel. Beach or other warm climates are preferred. I love animals and am often fostering rescue pups. Favorites hobbies are trying new wines and restaurants. As a host, my goal is to offer the perfect balance of privacy and hospitality. The intention of the Dairy Barn is to provide peace and tranquility to all those who visit. The Big House has more of a social atmosphere and built to entertain. Host on-site full-time. Recommendations available for restaurants, wineries & local attractions.
PVF is a certified "Century Farm" signifying its status as having remained in the same family for over 100 years. Your host is the 8th generation of her family to live on the farm. 680 acres w/5 ponds, beef cattle, deer and turkey-all waiting for you to explore. Hiking trails, fishing, pumpkin, flower and blackberry picking-calling your name. On-site parking available.
