Primrose Cottage is a mountain cabin residing near historic Bethesda Lake. Bethesda Lake is an 11 acre stocked spring fed mountain lake with extraordinary mountain views! HOT TUB! Fishing/swimming/kayaking (kayaks provided)! Ride in to Wolf Pen Gap west trail head is 5-10 minutes away. It is located on paved roads and is about 4 miles from the city of Mena.
My wife and I are natives of the area and we love sharing this area with visitors. It is a real treat. We are the owners/operators of a large multi-location regional furniture, bedding, appliance and home good store headquartered Mena. It is called Washburn’s Home Furnishings - the store is great and is worth a visit while you’re in town! We created our rental cabin business, Stonehill Cottages, in 2014 and have expanded it significantly in recent years. It is a spectacular property located in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains and is home to the historic Bethesda Lake. Jessica designed and decorated these custom built cabins. They are very much a labor of love. We love Mena, Arkansas. We love the awe inspiring natural landscape that surrounds us. Come see us :)
